(1) For the purpose of managing the garbage from the items used by the mountaineers, the garbage has been classified as follows:-
(a) destructible waste,
(b) Recyclable sewage,
(c) Garbage to be recycled.
(2) The items falling under the garbage as per sub-rule (1) shall be as mentioned in Schedule-10.
(3) If the mountain climbing party has designated an agency or organization to manage the garbage in an area according to Clause (a) of sub-rule (1), in the name of that agency or organization, and if no such agency or organization has been assigned, then in the name of the contact officer or the representative of the relevant local authority. And if there is no liaison officer or representative of the local body, the public space in the Sardar's Rohwar should be destroyed or taken to a pit without adversely affecting it.
(4) The mountaineer party shall bring the garbage as per clause (b) of sub-rule (1) to Kathmandu and submit it to the agency or institution designated by the Nepal government.
(5) The mountaineer party shall take the waste as per clause (c) of sub-rule (1) to their country.
